Once again a bang up job. The efforts necessary to produce these articles would wear me out. This political year it's Monday's smiles that keep me going. Thank you for your hard work.
Nicely done, Paul. Bobby Bragan is a name I’ve heard, and I think he was around the game a very long time (Wikipedia pegs his career at 73 years) but don’t really know much about - he sounds like quite a character.
In baseball terms it seems like he's a footnote that led to the Pirates installing Danny Murtaugh, but in Project 3.18 terms he may be a Mt. Rushmore guy. The 1950s is one of my weak points of knowledge, and I have a perception of those years as rather dull in baseball, but Bragan gives me hope that we'll find more gems there in the future.
Great newsletter today, Paul. I did a double take with the name Danny Murtaugh. It made me think of the movie Lethal Weapon, only because actor Danny Glover played character Roger Murtaugh. I know I have a weird mind. I was amazed to see that there is a spreadsheet of 18K baseball ejections. Wow! I’m a CPA so big spreadsheets impress me. I wholeheartedly agree with OFWG, it must take a lot of preparation to produce your newsletters especially with all of your supporting info. Thanks! Meg
